Email signup

The signup form on this site is run by Beehiiv, our newsletter service. When you subscribe, Beehiiv receives your email address and sends you a confirmation email. Pages also load Beehiiv's form and attribution scripts. Beehiiv's use of that data is covered by Beehiiv's privacy policy. You can unsubscribe from any email.

Server logs

Like most websites, our web host keeps basic server logs of requests, such as the page asked for, the time, the IP address and the browser type. We use them to keep the site running.

Settings saved in your browser

The site saves your light or dark theme choice, plus how smoothly your device runs the animated orbs (picked automatically, so slower devices get a lighter version), in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us.

What we do not run

No analytics or advertising trackers of our own. Sponsored spots are labeled and do not track you.
